Butterfield Trail Elementary School

LOCATION:  Fayetteville, Arkansas

This project consists of a 34,000 square foot addition as well as a renovation of the existing 38,000 square foot facility. The project is certified under the U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED for Schools rating system, and has become the first LEED for Schools certified project in the Northwest Arkansas region. Crafton Tull provided services to commission the facility’s primary energy using systems: HVAC, lighting/daylighting, and domestic water heating. The project was completed prior to the 2009-2010 school year.
