LOCATION:  Ozark, Arkansas

The Electric Cooperatives of Arkansas provides electricity to power homes, businesses and farms for approximately 490,000 people in Arkansas and surrounding states. They service areas that cover more than 60 percent of Arkansas’ land area that include members from the state’s 75 counties. Crafton Tull was hired to provide surveying services for supervising the retracement of GLO lines for fractional sections 6 and 7-9N-26W, re-establishing the mean high water mark along approximately 2400’ of the Arkansas River, the USCOE fee take line, and approximately 4500’ of row-of-way for the Missouri Pacific Railroad, and located numerous pipeline right-of-ways to assist in a 187 acre boundary for the conversion of a fuel burning generation station to a coal fueled station. The survey also included a topographic survey of the entire site.
