Fairview Municipal Hospital

LOCATION:  Fairview, Oklahoma

Crafton Tull was hired to remodel and expand the existing Fairview Municipal Hospital, an aging, one-story hospital with an attached medical office building (MOB) wing. The project includes the addition of a new public entry area and a link between the hospital and MOB along the front of the existing building, creating a new image for the facility as well as solving functional problems. The main entry will be under a covered drop off canopy with handicap access. The MOB’s entry is being expanded and a Reception/Registration area created, while the hospital’s main waiting area is revised to improve flow and create privacy for patients, visitors and staff. The Emergency and Surgery departments are being expanded with an addition to the building, while architectural and infrastructure improvements are made to Obstetrics, Imaging and administrative areas.
