Northwest Sector Water Tower and 16" Water Main

LOCATION:  Duncan, Oklahoma

This project consisted of planning, design and construction administration services for a new 136 ft. tall, 2 million gallon composite water tower for the City of Duncan, OK and a 2300 L.F. extension of a 16” water main to connect the new tower to the existing distribution system. The project was funded through the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund. This required Crafton Tull to prepare a detailed Preliminary Engineering Report, an Environmental Information Document and close coordination with the Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality and Oklahoma Water Resources Board for approval of the funding. The overall construction cost for the project was approximately $3.5 million.
