Bentonville Drainage Manual

LOCATION:  Bentonville, Arkansas

Unprecedented growth in the City of Bentonville over the previous decade prompted city leaders to develop a comprehensive drainage design manual. Crafton Tull was selected as the consulting engineer for this endeavor. Our engineers worked with the city staff to develop drainage design criteria and implement a manual that would better protect the interests of the citizens of Bentonville. This detailed manual replaced the somewhat incomplete drainage ordinances that were previously in place. Implementation of the new manual allowed engineers and developers to understand early in a project what the expectations would be for a given development and thereby brought citywide standardization for the design and construction of drainage improvements.
