U.S. 67 relocation - Hoxie, Arkansas

This 17 mile stretch of highway included one interchange, a set of main lane bridges, four overpasses and four major drainage structures. Bridge types consisted of steel plate girder and wide-flange steel beam superstructures with cast-in-place decks supported on reinforced concrete bents with concrete filled steel shell piling foundations. The bridge sites are within a Class B seismic zone and all plans were prepared in metric units. Crafton Tull was prime consultant for the job, responsible for right-of-way plans, grading and structures plans as well as base and surfacing plans.
