Rogers Sports Park Trail

Crafton Tull was selected by the City of Rogers to prepare a master plan, architectural designs and engineering documents for a new sports park at Highway 67 and Dixieland Road in Rogers. The constructed park now serves the community with active and passive recreation amenities. The theme of the park is “Nature in the Ozarks” which is typified by wetland mitigation ponds and streams surrounding by native vegetation on the south side of the park. This drainage system serves as a buffer between the park adjacent railroad tracks and provides interpretive opportunities for trail users. The paved multi-use path meanders through the constructed wetlands and links to the City of Rogers rail network on both the east and west ends of the site. The field parking lots serve as trail head parking on non-tournament days for locals that wish to ride or walk small loops around the ball fields and vegetated ponds.
