Fayetteville Public Schools Transportation & Nutrition Office

The 2019 FSD Transportation & Nutrition Building is a collaborative effort between the separate facilities, combining departments into a new, single office building adjacent to their previous locations. In addition to offices and support spaces, the building includes both medium and small conference rooms, a test kitchen, and a large assembly space that will be used for bus drivers to gather before and after driving their daily routes. The assembly space is flexible and includes media equipment for presentations, a kitchen/break room area, and storage.

Along with the new office building, the project includes much-needed upgrades to the existing food storage warehouse, which will feature new exterior cladding for better appearance, mechanical upgrades for safe storage of food products, and an additional walk-in cooler for added capacity. Bus lot improvements included resurfacing existing lots, additional/separate parking for bus drivers, and a dedicated entry/exit for bus use only.
