University of Arkansas Discovery Hall
Renovations at Discovery Hall at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville were a multiple phase project that updated the five story, 54,000-square-foot building. Crafton Tull worked closely with university staff to create a space that best meets their needs. Labs were reconfigured, adding hood space and adapting classroom space to the changing needs of the campus. The building’s weathered concrete exterior was rehabilitated and building windows replaced. Construction was scheduled for winter and summer breaks to keep the building open for classes. Careful planning and structured construction deadlines paired with flexibility on the part of the architect and contractors delivered each phase on schedule.
