23rd St Revitalization - OKC, OK

Phase 2 of the NE 23rd Street Revitalization consisted of street improvement and widening of a one mile section of 23rd Street and the replacement of 1/2 mile of existing small waterlines with 12” waterline.  The intersection of Martin Luther King Boulevard and NE 23rd Street now has new signalization, a civil rights monument and a park.  Two additional intersections have been accented with brick pavers, crosswalks and landscape improvements. Crafton Tull provided the civil engineering and surveying services for the two mile corridor study completed in 2002.  In addition, we were the design phase project manager for one mile of the corridor, which included roadway widening/reconstruction, streetscape, lighting, traffic signals and utility relocations.
