24th Street Extension - Rogers, AR

The 24th Street Extension project consisted of approximately 1/2 mile of a new 3 lane street between New Hope Road on the south, and a the existing Seminole Hills Subdivision to the north.  The street was constructed primarily to serve as a secondary access point to the new Rogers Aquatics Center at Dock Wheeler Park, and to improve connectivity in the area. The 3 lane section was constructed from New Hope to Lilac and then a 2 lane boulevard was constructed north across the park property. The project was primarily reconstruction of the existing street within the existing right-of-way, with a portion of it on the park property being new construction. Approximately 1,700 linear feet of new storm drain was also installed with the project to improve drainage in the area.
