Perry Road Interchange
Crafton Tull was hired to provide a wide range of essential service for a new interchange off I-49 to serve Mercy Hospital and the City of Rogers. Services included: a break-in-access study, surveying, parcel plans, right-of-way plans, utility relocation and coordination, channel relocation, FEMA CLOMR / LOMR submittals, Corp of Engineers permitting, interchange layout, roadway design, and bridge design. We coordinated with the Federal Highway Administration, Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department, Northwest Arkansas Regional Planning Commission, and local businesses to get the job done. The interchange is six lanes (75’- 0” curb to curb) and included 6’- 0” sidewalks both sides, a 224’- 0” steel plate girder unit, a 225’- 0” steel beam unit, a 238’- 0” steel beam unit, a 259’- 0” steel beam unit, Ashlar stone decorative concrete, and two of the ramps are over Blossom Way Creek.
The project received an Honorable Mention Award from the American Council of Engineering Companies in 2008.
