Crafton Tull was honored to be selected by the Jonesboro Advertising and Promotions Commission and the Public Facilities Board to design the new First Community Bank Sportsplex. Now under construction, this multi-use sports facility will provide the City of Jonesboro with a cutting-edge regional competition venue for aquatics, basketball, volleyball, and pickleball. 

Now entering the construction administration phase of the project, our team has provided professional services supporting athletes throughout the region. The process has included numerous public input meetings, during which we posed challenging questions and received invaluable insights from the citizens of Jonesboro and key facility personnel. 

The project is designed with a strong emphasis on flexibility and adaptability. Featuring versatile hard courts, both long and short course swimming options, exterior water features, and an event center.

Amenities provided at the request of the City input sessions:

• Courts for basketball, volleyball, and pickleball
• Expanded dining facilities
• A 50-meter competition pool with dual movable bulkheads and expansive spectator seating
• Diving competition venue
• Separate warmup/ leisure pool with programmed public play structures
• Outdoor aquatic features (slides, spray features, tot pool, and play structures)
• Event Center and retail components

Crafton Tull is currently providing construction administration services alongside Hastings + Chivetta, Counsilman-Hunsaker, subconsultants, and our Construction Manager (Nabholz Construction). We eagerly anticipate the swim meets, tournaments, and fun-filled events that this state-of-the-art facility will host once completed.
