Lakeside School District is situated on approximately 110 acres, serving 3,400 students ranging from Pre-K through 12th grade. Master planning for the campus improvements began in 2015. Crafton Tull designed a roundabout to simplify the main intersection, align the entrances, and develop a four-way intersection. Not only was this roundabout project a first for the school district, but also for Hot Springs as a whole.  

Additional improvements involved in this project included parking improvements for the intermediate school, entry improvements (including the roundabout), concession and restroom additions, new canopies, and stadium entry improvements. Services for these projects included site layout, grading, drainage, stormwater design, water and sanitary utilities to building additions, and preparing the SWPPP, all in conjunction with the campus master plan. The team also provided structural engineering to the project architect for the building additions. These projects were completed during school breaks, with the majority occurring during the summer of 2017 and completed in August 2017.
