James MontgomerySince 1992, Crafton Tull has held a contract (either directly or as a subconsultant) with the Corps of Engineers Little Rock District to provide surveying and mapping services that include boundary maintenance surveys, topographic surveys, cadastral surveys, terrestrial scanning surveys, construction layout, and hydrographic/bathymetric surveys.
The Little Rock District is generally comprised of 12 lakes and Crafton Tull has performed work on all of them. Currently, the Crafton Tull survey team is working on the boundary maintenance and rehabilitation of approximately 67 miles of the Table Rock Lake boundary.
Table Rock Lake was constructed in the mid-1950s by damming the White, Kings, and James Rivers. Crafton Tull is working on a portion of the James River arm of the lake. The lake has approximately 950 miles of boundary.
