Pleasant Grove Road Phase III

Crafton Tull was contracted by the City of Rogers to survey and design a four-lane extension of Pleasant Grove Road from Arkansas 112 to Sloan Circle with a bridge over Osage Creek, lighting, a section of retaining wall to protect existing housing, and a precast 150’ golf cart tunnel.

Two roundabouts were included on the eastern side of the project in the Rainbow Road to Sloan Circle section.

This project included a 24” water line adjacent to the road improvements and a parallel 10” force main to increase capacity on the west side of the city. The water project involved 7,255 LF of 24” water line. The sewer project involved 2,325 LF of 10” force main and 1,360 LF of 12” force main.

Crafton Tull handled the design and environmental permitting required for bridge construction. Easements were obtained, and utilities were relocated for construction of the roundabouts. Extensive coordination with the city included creating cuts through the dividing median to allow left turns out of the fire station and allow roadway access for the city wastewater treatment plant.
